1. What WishMint Does

WishMint ("we", "our", or "us") provides a platform for creating private, personalized digital surprise films and messages for birthdays, anniversaries, and personal celebrations. Each surprise is delivered through a private, unguessable link created specifically for your recipient.

2. Information We Collect

When you create a digital surprise on WishMint, you voluntarily provide:

• Gift Details: Recipient name, relationship, birthday/occasion date, and tone preferences.
• Memory Prompts & Letter: Stories, memories, and personal letter text you write or customize.
• User-Uploaded Media: Photographs and voice recordings you upload to include in the experience.
• Transactional Metadata: Payment status and transaction reference identifiers (payment card details are processed directly by our secure payment gateway and are never stored on our servers).

3. Privacy of Your Photos and Voice Notes

Your personal memories, photographs, and voice notes are never publicly indexed, searched, or made available in any public directory.

• Surprise pages are configured with strict noindex, nofollow robot instructions and X-Robots-Tag: noindex, nofollow response headers so search engines do not index them.
• Social media preview links show only a spoiler-free envelope to protect the recipient's surprise until they choose to open it.
• Media files are hosted securely with cryptographic public IDs and are never shared with third-party advertisers.

4. Data Retention and Expiration

Gifts are retained based on the tier chosen at creation:

• Basic: Active for 30 days from creation.
• Premium: Active for 365 days from creation.
• Deluxe: Kept active indefinitely unless deletion is requested.

Once a gift expires, the link ceases to open and its associated media is scheduled for permanent deletion from our storage.

5. Your Rights and Deletion Requests

Whether you are the sender who created a gift or the recipient who received one, you have the right to request immediate deletion of the gift and all associated media. Send an email with the gift URL to hello@wishmint.in and our team will permanently remove it within 48 hours.
